Clinical Psychology Masters Program
Lydia is a Clinical Psychology Master’s student currently studying at Lakehead University. She is accepting new clients under the supervision of Monique Mercier, M.A., Psychological Associate, on a sliding scale rate of $50 to $100.
Lydia works from a client-centred, culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed approach, and uses validation, empathy, and curiosity to create an environment where clients can feel heard and explore what matters most. Her training is informed by cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion therapies. She believes in empowering her clients through a collaborative process to explore their goals and to offer tools to develop long-lasting skills and self-confidence.
Lydia works with clients who may be navigating stress, relational difficulties, anxiety, depression, grief /loss, burnout, and trauma. Lydia also has specific interests working with clients coming from rural, remote, and/or underserviced areas.
